Hong Kong private company

Hong Kong Public Company
Also known as open company, open company, majority company or listed company, Hong Kong public company is characterized by that its shares can be listed on the stock exchange for public trading, and there is no statutory maximum limit on the number of members.
Hong Kong listed company
A company whose shares are listed on the unified exchange. Unlisted company refers to a company whose shares are not listed on the stock exchange.
Hong Kong holding company
The holding company is divided into simple holding company and mixed holding company. The former aims at controlling other companies, while the latter is engaged in business activities in addition to holding shares of other companies.

Hong Kong overseas company
A company incorporated outside Hong Kong and having a place of business in Hong Kong after the commencement of the Companies Ordinance and a company incorporated outside Hong Kong and having a place of business in Hong Kong before the commencement of the Companies Ordinance and continuing to have a place of business in Hong Kong at the commencement of the Companies Ordinance.

It refers to a registered company with legal personality which is registered and established in accordance with the company regulations and whose shareholders have unlimited liability for the company's debts.

The incorporation of a company may be registered in the Companies Registry in accordance with the Companies Ordinance.
